Our client, who is a marketing leader is their field, is looking for an experienced Sales/Account executive to manage their client's accounts in a professional manner, to achieve and exceed sales targets in a busy lively office environment. They are offering a basic salary from £15,000 to £20,000 basic pa plus commission. Realistic OTE £30,000 + uncapped!
Main purpose of Job To maximise the sales of companys products and services through the sales and customer development of your area. To seek new customers and develop incremental Dealers Sales within your assigned area.
Areas of Responsibility:- All sales account management. To develop your personal sales skills. To provide general sales support to the companys customers. To promote the company. To promote only those products and services that the company give authorisation for general announcement. To accept and operate within the sales divisions sales procedures. To actively pursue all areas of personal development. To achieve your targeted sales objectives, which will be notified to you from month to month.
Key Activities:- Account Management: To consolidate and maximise sale to existing accounts. To undertake proactive selling to new contacts. To undertake day to day management of your active selling time. To undertake regular and professional sales telephone contacts with any current and potential clients within the guidelines set by your superior in terms of number of proactive calls per day and phone times. To coordinate demonstrations and seminars for clients/ prospects. To undertake the preparation of proposals and correspondence for clients/prospects. To follow all enquiries to a conclusion. To maintain a database of all clients/prospects and to keep records of all contacts. Administrive responsibilities will include, checking the accuracy of all invoices, order forms, delivery promises, credit control assistance etc. To back-up the administrative functions of the sales division, including message undertaking, office tidiness, and general assistance to other members of the sales team.
Performance standards required:- Achieve levels of personal sales objectives. Achieve the phone times and proactive calls target set by your superior Assist in all sales areas when requested. Pro-active sales require: regular contact, telephone calls, proposals and update reports to clients/prospects. To sell the range and volume of products and services in line with general targets/revenues. Develop beneficial sales relationships with all clients/prospects. To advise management of complaints and keep a log of action taken. Meet performance deadlines/objectives. Acquire product and system knowledge to effectively achieve an acceptable level of professionalism.
