My client is a looking for an experienced Project Manager with 5 years + experience of IT led projects.
Purpose of Role
To define, plan, manage a number of business or IT projects including larger strategic projects. To ensure that projects are correctly scoped, and deliver the agreed functionality on time, within budget, and to agreed quality.
Key Responsibilities
·High level business impact analysis
·Facilitation of decision making at the highest level
·Investigation, documentation, and presentation of solutions and recommendations
·Risk analysis
·Produce Project Documentation, following the company’s Project Methodology guidelines and obtaining the appropriate signoffs
·Produces project plans showing the quantity and quality of project resource required
·Manage a number of smaller projects or one or more of the larger strategic projects
·Chair the Project Team Meetings
·Produce regular reporting of project progress and issues.
·To effectively own manage workloads, that often required multitasking on a variety of projects
·Liaising with business users, developers and testers as appropriate, gaining commitment throughout the project cycle.
·Other tasks as may be required
·Project management experience (over 5 years)
·Proven experience of managing and successfully delivering both IT and business orientated projects.
·Proven experience of using analysis and project methodologies
·Understanding of the Finance//Banking/Premium Finance Industry desirable
·Educated preferably degree level, but to minimum A level standard
