An opportunity has arisen within the Epsom offices with one of our clients to work as a Technical Assistant within a designer building product business.
Assisting the Department to ensure the design, specifications and costs of this product directly supplied from Italy comply with the company‘¦s budgets, specifications, timescales and quality standards.
The Key Responsibilities & Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
« Preparing and amending offers for the different regions of the company, collating tenders, specifications and all the information necessary from developers, ensuring all relevant information is available before forwarding to the Italian design team.
« Receive revisions, amendments and reports and take the necessary action.
« Attend and contribute to design and specifications meetings as and when required.
« Liaise with office and site staff whenever there are design specification queries.
« Any other duties reasonably required by the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a clear understanding of architectural plans, design and specifications with proven experience in the property / building industry.
The Key Skills and Competencies
« Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
« Good written and verbal communication skills
« Ability to prioritise work load and meet deadlines.
« A good attention to detail
Candidates must be willing to travel and have a full drivers licence as the role involves travelling throughout England. They must be able to work on their own initiative and be self-motivated.
